Dr. Patricia MacGregor-Mendoza, College of Arts and Sciences
“When I think of the Leading the Way award, I think immediately of Dr. Patricia MacGregor-Mendoza…Not only are the online courses she teaches constantly revised and modified for quality focus, not only does she mentor other colleagues who teach the courses she has developed, but she is a tireless advocate on the department level as well as in her discipline for best practices in online education.” ~Dr. Fetzer
Dr. Richard Oliver, College of Business
“Dr. Oliver was in the first OCIP cohort of 1Y+ Fellows and he successfully completed the program. He has since gone on and had three of his business courses earn QM Recognition. Dr. Oliver also has been known to share his experience and expertise with online course design and online teaching with faculty colleagues. In addition to being on the Faculty Advisory Committee on Technology or FACT, he also serves on the OCIP Advisory Board. He chaired the LMS Selection Task Force, as well as served on technology and online policy committees. Dr. Oliver is the faculty lead for the new Executive MBA, which will launch this spring and will be offered in a distance education format. Needless to say, Dr. Oliver is “Leading the Way” as an advocate, learner, and change agent!” ~ Dr. Susan Bussmann
